Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP national president JP Nadda and other party leaders on Monday launched a mega ‘Modi ka Parivar’ campaign on social media to counter RJD supremo Lalu Yadav’s “no family” remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
As part of the program, the BJP leaders and their supporters added ‘Modi ka Parivar’ in their profile name on social media platform ‘X’.
Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Kiren Rijiju and several other BJP leaders expressed their solidarity with PM Modi and added ‘Modi ka Parivar’ in their name.

Earlier on Sunday, Lalu Yadav had said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi often attacks Opposition over “Parivarwaad” since he himself has no family.
“What can we do if Narendra Modi does not have a family of his own?,” he asked.
Lalu also questioned his Hindu religion, claiming the PM didn’t sacrifice his hairs when his mother died in 2022.
Responding to Lalu Yadav’s remarks, Prime Minister Modi said that 140 crore countrymen were his family.
“Today, crores of daughters, mothers and sisters of the country are Modi’s family. Every poor person in the country is my family. Those who have no one, they also belong to Modi and Modi belongs to them. My India-My family, with the expansion of these feelings, I am living for you, fighting for you and will continue to fight for you, to fulfill my dreams with determination,” he said while addressing a gathering in Telangana on Monday.
Taking a jibe at Lalu Yadav, Modi further added, “Tomorrow they can also say that you have never been sentenced to jail, hence you cannot enter politics.”
Reacting to the RJD leaders remarks, Union Minister Piyush Goyal said that the people of the country will never forgive Lalu for using “abusive” words against Modi.
